Human Complement C3/C3 ELISA Kit

Designed for the precise quantitative measurement of human complement C3 levels, this Sandwich (double-antibody) ELISA from Assay Genie supports research into the complement system, immune defence, and inflammation regulation. The colorimetric assay is intended for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and reacts with human complement C3.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 4.688 ng/mL and a working range of 7.813–500 ng/mL. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. The protocol uses a biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC), and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

Linearity across dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8) was reported as 90–101% / 89–102% / 85–97% for serum, 83–91% / 82–97% / 82–96% for EDTA plasma, and 84–99% / 88–99% / 85–99% for heparin plasma. Recovery ranged from 85–103% (average 92%) in serum, 89–101% (average 97%) in EDTA plasma, and 86–104% (average 99%) in heparin plasma.
