Human Complement C1s subcomponent (C1S) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the precise measurement of complement C1s levels in human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, using a colorimetric detection method. The assay covers a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.098ng/mL, and reports intra-assay CV of 6.3% and inter-assay CV of 8.6%.

Specificity is directed against natural and recombinant human Complement C1s subcomponent. Linearity has been established in serum (86-119%), EDTA plasma (93-120%) and heparin plasma (97-120%) across dilution factors from 1:2 to 1:16, while recovery averages 100% in serum (range 94-106%) and 102% in plasma (range 96-108%). C1s B chain is a serine protease that combines with C1q and C1r to form C1, the first component of the classical pathway of the complement system, and its dysregulation has been linked to inflammatory diseases, autoimmune disorders and infections, highlighting its importance as a biomarker.
