Human Collagenase I CLIA Kit (HUES00496)

From Assay Genie, this chemiluminescence immunoassay (CLIA) kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of Human Collagenase I in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. It uses a sandwich-CLIA format with a pre-coated microplate and a biotinylated detection antibody paired with an Avidin-HRP conjugate, run on a chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer that correlates Relative Light Unit values to analyte concentration. The total assay time is 4.5h with a sample volume of 100 μL.

Stated performance figures include a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a detection range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. Linearity was evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and cell culture media across dilution ratios from 1:2 to 1:16, with recovery ranges of 84–98% in serum, 86–98% in EDTA plasma and 86–100% in cell culture media (averages of 90%, 91% and 93% respectively). Intra-assay CVs of 9.49%, 8.86% and 9.67% and inter-assay CVs of 11.51%, 9.29% and 6.78% are reported; the manufacturer states both intra-CV and inter-CV are < 15%. The kit recognizes Human Collagenase I in samples with no significant cross-reactivity or interference between Human Collagenase I and analogues.
