Human Collagen Type XII (COL12) ELISA Kit

Collagen Type XII (COL12) is a member of the FACIT (Fibril-Associated Collagen with Interrupted Triple helices) subfamily, encoded by the COL12A1 gene, and is expressed in connective tissues such as tendon, ligament, skin, cartilage and skeletal muscle. Researchers use this ELISA from Assay Genie to quantify COL12 levels in studies of extracellular matrix remodeling, fibrosis, tendon healing, cartilage biology, wound repair and connective tissue development, including work on COL12A1-related myopathies and Ehlers-Danlos-like syndromes. The assay is validated specifically for human samples and is intended for in vitro research use only.
