Human COL6A3/CollagenVI Alpha 3 ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie sandwich ELISA Kit is a colorimetric immunoassay for the quantitative detection of human collagen type VI alpha 3 (COL6a3), also known by the synonyms COL6-A3 and Collagen Alpha-3(VI)chain. The assay is validated for serum and plasma specimens and is intended for research use only, with a 12-month shelf life.

Performance characteristics include a measuring range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. Recovery was evaluated in serum (80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81–100%, average 90%), and heparin plasma (80–89%, average 84%). Linearity in serum showed 82–96% at 1:2, 83–98% at 1:4, 81–99% at 1:8, and 93–101% at 1:16; EDTA plasma yielded 88–101% at 1:2, 86–95% at 1:4, and 90–102% at 1:8.
