Human COL15A1/CollagenXV ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit designed for the quantitative detection of human COL15A1 (Collagen XV) using a colorimetric method. The kit is reactive with human samples and supports research into COL15A1, an extracellular matrix component implicated in cell adhesion, migration, and tissue development.

According to the manufacturer specifications, sensitivity is 0.188 ng/mL with an assay range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported linearity spans 81-104% for serum, 80-100% for EDTA plasma, and 86-105% for heparin plasma across dilutions. Recovery averages 97% for serum and EDTA plasma and 99% for heparin plasma.

The protocol involves primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin incubation for 30 minutes, and TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, followed by absorbance measurement at 450 nm. Dysregulation of COL15A1 has been linked to cancer, fibrosis, and developmental disorders, making the kit suitable for studies of disease progression, drug efficacy, and therapeutic targets. Storage is at 2-8°C for 12 months.
