Human COL11A1/Collagen XI Alpha 1 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative detection of human COL11A1 (Collagen XI Alpha 1) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The double-antibody sandwich format delivers a sensitivity of 23.438 pg/mL and a working range of 39.063-2500 pg/mL, with absorbance read at 450 nm following TMB colour development.

Linearity in serum is reported as 87-101% (1:2), 86-105% (1:4) and 85-99% (1:8); in EDTA plasma as 85-100%, 86-99% and 82-90%; and in heparin plasma as 87-100%, 82-100% and 88-103%. Spike-and-recovery averages are 97% (serum), 94% (EDTA plasma) and 92% (heparin plasma), with corresponding ranges of 85-101%, 86-100% and 88-104%.

The procedure comprises reagent and plate preparation, a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute biotin-labelled detection antibody step, a 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin binding step, 10-20 minutes of TMB development in the dark, and a stop reaction measured at 450 nm. The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. COL11A1 corresponds to Uniprot P12107 and is applied in cell biology research on cartilage, extracellular matrix dynamics, and tissue remodelling.
