Human Cofilin 2, Muscle (CFL2) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's CFL2 kit enables quantitative measurement of Cofilin 2 in human samples. CFL2 is an actin-binding protein expressed predominantly in skeletal and cardiac muscle, where it regulates filament disassembly and sarcomere turnover; altered CFL2 expression has been associated with nemaline myopathy and other congenital myopathies, making this immunoassay useful for muscle biology research and dystrophy model studies. The microplate-based kit is supplied with a pre-coated capture antibody plate, biotinylated detection antibody, enzyme conjugate, calibration standard, concentrated wash buffer, chromogenic substrate, and stop solution. Unopened kits should be refrigerated and stored at 4°C; reconstituted reagents should be aliquoted and frozen, with limited freeze-thaw cycles, to preserve binding activity and protect from light. Intended for research use only, the kit supports quantitative analysis of CFL2 in tissue homogenates and cell lysates from myogenic cultures, enabling comparisons between healthy and pathological muscle specimens.
