Human Coenzyme Q-binding protein COQ10 homolog A, mitochondrial (COQ10A) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human coenzyme Q-binding protein COQ10 homolog A, mitochondrial (COQ10A) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. The kit is intended for research use only.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.78–50 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.29 ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is reported as 5.6% CV and inter-assay precision as 10.2% CV. Spike-and-recovery testing gives an average recovery of 99% (range 93–105%) in serum and 101% (range 95–107%) in plasma. Linearity has been evaluated across dilution ratios from 1:2 to 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma matrices.

COQ10A is a mitochondrial inner membrane protein required for the function of coenzyme Q in the respiratory chain, where it may act as a chaperone or participate in the transport of Q6 from its site of synthesis to the catalytic sites of the respiratory complexes.
