Human Coagulation factor X (F10) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Sandwich ELISA Kit designed for the quantitative measurement of human Coagulation factor X (F10) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Also known as Stuart factor or Stuart-Prower factor, Factor X is a vitamin K-dependent glycoprotein that, in its activated form (Factor Xa), converts prothrombin to thrombin in the presence of factor Va, calcium and phospholipid during blood clotting, making it an important biomarker for research into coagulation disorders, cardiovascular diseases, and related health conditions.

The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human Coagulation factor X and uses a colorimetric ELISA detection method. According to the manufacturer's specifications, the assay has a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.098ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 4.2% and an inter-assay CV of 8.1%. Dilutional linearity for serum (N=5) spanned 81-109% across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, EDTA plasma (N=5) spanned 92-116%, and heparin plasma (N=5) spanned 82-116%.
