Human Coagulation factor VII (F7) ELISA Kit

Developed by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the precise measurement of human coagulation factor VII in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay reacts with natural and recombinant human coagulation factor VII, also referred to as Proconvertin, Serum prothrombin conversion accelerator and SPCA, and uses a colorimetric detection method.

Reported performance figures include a detection range of 15.6–1000 ng/mL, a sensitivity of 7.8 ng/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.2% and an inter-assay CV of 9.7%. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across serial dilutions. Recovery averages 100% (range 94–106%) in serum and 102% (range 96–108%) in plasma. Factor VII is a serine protease that initiates the extrinsic pathway of blood coagulation, and the kit is intended for research use only in areas including immunology and hemostasis, where dysregulation of the protein is linked to bleeding and thrombotic conditions.
