Human Coagulation Factor II (F2) ELISA Kit

Prothrombin, also known as Coagulation Factor II, is a vitamin K-dependent glycoprotein synthesized in the liver and cleaved during the coagulation cascade to generate active thrombin. Measuring circulating F2 concentrations in serum supports research into hemostasis, the G20210A prothrombin variant, venous thromboembolism risk, liver synthetic capacity, and vitamin K status. The Assay Genie reagents are configured for human samples and have not been validated against mouse, rat, or other species. The kit ships with a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, lyophilized reference standard, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, TMB substrate, wash concentrate, and stop solution, sufficient for 96 determinations. Reconstituted standards and concentrated detection reagent should be aliquoted and stored frozen at -20 °C to limit freeze-thaw degradation, while sealed components are best kept refrigerated until first use. All reagents are intended for in vitro research use only and are not approved for clinical diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
