Human Coactosin-like protein (COTL1) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie for quantifying human Coactosin-like protein (COTL1), also known by the synonym CLP. Using colorimetric detection, the assay is designed to measure COTL1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant human COTL1.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156-10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.098 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.3% and inter-assay CV is 7.1%. Linearity has been established in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 (N=5), with recovery averaging 100% (range 94-106%) in serum and 102% (range 96-108%) in plasma. The target protein (UniProt Q14019) binds F-actin in a calcium-independent manner and acts as a chaperone for ALOX5, with a primary research focus on cancer.
