Human CNTNAP2/Contactin Associated Protein Like Protein 2 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA, double-antibody kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of Contactin Associated Protein-Like Protein 2 (CNTNAP2) in human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Spike-and-recovery testing across matrices demonstrated recovery ranges of 86–103% in serum (average 94%), 98–102% in EDTA plasma (average 100%), and 89–100% in heparin plasma (average 96%). Linearity assessed at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions showed values of 89–98%, 82–101% and 80–100% in serum; 90–101%, 85–100% and 82–99% in EDTA plasma; and 87–105%, 82–97% and 81–95% in heparin plasma. The procedure begins with reagent and TMB substrate equilibration to room temperature, followed by primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation for 60 minutes, and HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) incubation for 30 minutes, before TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes and absorbance reading at 450 nm.

Kit components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilised standard, biotin-labelled antibody concentrate (100X), HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (SABC, 100X), TMB substrate, sample dilution buffer, antibody dilution buffer, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, plate sealer and technical manual. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C, with the microplate and lyophilised standard additionally suitable for 12-month storage at –20°C.
