The Assay Genie Human CNTF PharmaGenie ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of Ciliary Neurotrophic Factor, a neurotrophic cytokine implicated in neuronal survival, motor neuron maintenance, and glial differentiation, in human research samples. The assay is supplied as a complete kit including pre-coated microplate wells, biotinylated detection antibodies, recombinant standards, and substrate reagents sufficient for 96 determinations, with colorimetric readout at the standard endpoint wavelength.

Key performance characteristics: detection range 31.2 to 2000 pg/mL, sensitivity 7.8 pg/mL, and a recommended sample volume of 100 µL per well. The kit accepts cell culture supernatants, plasma, and serum, making it applicable to studies of neuroinflammation, retinal degeneration, astrocyte signalling, and broader cytokine profiling in central nervous system disease models.
