Human CNPase ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Human CNPase ELISA Kit is a sandwich ELISA using a double-antibody format, designed for the quantitative measurement of CNPase in human samples. The kit accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. With a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL, it provides precise detection of CNPase, also known by the synonym CNP and formally as 2',3'-cyclic-nucleotide 3'-phosphodiesterase (UniProt P09543), an enzyme that plays a vital role in the myelination of nerve cells in the central nervous system.

Research applications focus on cell biology, with particular relevance to neurological disorders such as multiple sclerosis and schizophrenia, where CNPase dysregulation has been proposed as a potential biomarker. The kit should be stored at 2–8°C, where components remain stable for 12 months.

Linearity performance was evaluated across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8, with recovery ranges spanning 83% to 105%. Average recovery values were 93% for serum, 91% for EDTA plasma, and 95% for heparin plasma across the tested sample sets.
