Human CMA1/Chymase ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human CMA1/Chymase in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a sandwich ELISA format with a double antibody method and colorimetric detection. CMA1, also referred to as Chymase, Alpha-chymase, or Mast cell protease I, is an enzyme implicated in immune response regulation, inflammation, and tissue remodeling, making it a biomarker of interest in conditions such as allergic diseases, cardiovascular disorders, and fibrosis.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. It is reactive with human samples and is intended for use within immunology research, with storage at 2–8°C for 12 months. The procedure concludes with measurement of absorbance at 450 nm following addition of stop solution.

Validation data include linearity at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Recovery testing in serum (n=5) returned 85–103% (average 93%), EDTA plasma (n=5) 85–102% (average 96%), and heparin plasma (n=5) 93–102% (average 97%).
