The Human Cluster of Differentiation 30 Ligand (CD30L) ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of soluble CD30L, also known as CD153 and TNFSF8, a 26 kDa type II transmembrane glycoprotein of the TNF ligand superfamily that binds the CD30 receptor (TNFRSF8) on lymphocyte surfaces. The reagents are supplied as a complete pack for a 96-well microplate format, including pre-coated wells, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP, calibrated standards, and substrate solutions, all for research use only in immunology and oncology laboratories.

CD30L is upregulated on activated T cells, B cells, monocytes, and granulocytes, providing co-stimulatory signals that drive T-cell proliferation, Th2 cytokine secretion, and germinal center B-cell help. Circulating CD30L serves as a biomarker of immune activation in research on Hodgkin lymphoma, anaplastic large cell lymphoma, rheumatoid arthritis, and systemic lupus erythematosus, and supports immune monitoring after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. The human-specific capture antibody shows no significant cross-reactivity with mouse or rat CD30L. Reagents should be stored refrigerated, with concentrated detection antibody and standard stock aliquoted and frozen at -20°C for long-term stability; the microplate should be kept sealed in a foil pouch with desiccant to protect from light.
