Human CLPP ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this competitive ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of human CLPP (Caseinolytic Mitochondrial Matrix Peptidase Proteolytic Subunit) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. CLPP is described as a critical component of mitochondrial protein quality control, with a role in maintaining mitochondrial homeostasis and cell function, and its dysregulation has been linked to neurodegenerative disorders, metabolic syndromes, and aging-related conditions.

The assay uses a competitive format coated with antigen and reports a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL with a measuring range of 1.563–100 ng/mL. The colorimetric readout is captured by measuring absorbance at 450 nm following TMB substrate development. The kit is intended for research use in cell biology applications, with the target annotated under UniProt Q16740 and also referred to as Endopeptidase Clp.
