CLMP is a member of the CAR (CXADR) family of junctional adhesion molecules, transmembrane glycoproteins localized at tight junctions in epithelial tissues. Research applications include studies of intestinal epithelial barrier integrity, mucosal inflammation, and cell-cell adhesion mechanisms relevant to gastrointestinal and inflammatory disease models. The assay supports laboratory workflows profiling membrane-protein expression in human cell lines and primary tissue samples.
