Human CLEC4E/C-type lectin domain family 4 member E ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit with double-antibody detection is intended for the quantitative measurement of human CLEC4E (C-Type Lectin Domain Family 4 Member E) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit is suited to immunology research. CLEC4E, also known as MINCLE, CLECSF9, C-type lectin superfamily member 9 and Macrophage-inducible C-type lectin, is a member of the C-type lectin family involved in immune response regulation and pathogen recognition, with dysregulation associated with inflammatory disorders and viral infections.

Reported sensitivity is 46.875 pg/mL with a standard range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Linearity in serum (n=5) is 90–105% at 1:2, 87–100% at 1:4 and 82–95% at 1:8; EDTA plasma (n=5) gives 85–105%, 84–100% and 83–100% at the same dilutions; Heparin plasma (n=5) gives 88–101%, 82–98% and 83–95%. Recovery ranges are 88–100% (average 93%) for serum, 87–102% (average 96%) for EDTA plasma, and 91–104% (average 98%) for Heparin plasma. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

The assay procedure includes reagent and plate preparation, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) incubation at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB substrate colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and a stop reaction with absorbance read at 450 nm.
