Human CLEC-2 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS0428)

The CLEC-2 receptor (gene symbol CLEC1B) is a C-type lectin-like transmembrane protein most abundantly expressed on platelets and megakaryocytes, where it drives activation cascades downstream of podoplanin binding and contributes to lymphatic vessel separation during development. Soluble CLEC-2 shed into circulation and into cell culture media has attracted interest as a biomarker in studies of thromboinflammation, tumor cell extravasation, and vascular integrity, and an immunoassay that resolves endogenous human CLEC-2 from these matrices is a useful tool for those investigations.

This Assay Genie reagent set provides 96 assays configured as a complete microplate-format immunoassay with pre-coated wells, lyophilized recombinant human CLEC-2 reference standard, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, and substrate solution. The assay is validated for human reactivity and accepts cell culture supernatants, plasma, or serum as input material, allowing researchers to move between in vitro conditioned media and clinical or donor-derived specimens without switching platforms.

Each run is read on a standard microplate absorbance reader after the substrate step, and concentrations in unknown samples are interpolated from the included standard curve. The kit ships with sufficient reagents for a full 96-assay plate and is intended for research use only.
