Human CLDN4/Claudin-4 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a CLDN4 (Claudin-4) ELISA Kit built on a sandwich ELISA, double-antibody format with colorimetric detection, intended for the quantitative measurement of human Claudin-4 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Claudin-4 (Uniprot O14493) is a tight-junction component that regulates paracellular permeability and epithelial barrier integrity, and the kit is positioned for signal-transduction research; dysregulation of CLDN4 has been linked to cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and infectious diseases.

The workflow uses a pre-coated microplate: standards, samples and blanks are incubated at 37°C for 90 minutes, followed by a biotin-labelled detection antibody (60 minutes, 37°C), HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding (30 minutes, 37°C), TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and a stop reaction with absorbance read immediately at 450 nm. Reported linearity in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions spans 80–104%, and average spike-and-recovery across the same matrices is 93–95%. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
