Human CLDN3/Claudin-3 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA (Double Antibody) is designed for the precise quantification of human CLDN3 (Claudin-3) levels across serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit uses a colorimetric detection method and is validated for research applications studying tight junction biology, where CLDN3 plays a key role in regulating the permeability of epithelial and endothelial cell layers.

Performance specifications include a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum (87–94% at 1:2, 86–105% at 1:4, 90–104% at 1:8), EDTA plasma (82–94%, 89–101%, 92–100%) and heparin plasma (84–95%, 81–96%, 81–100%). Recovery averages 91% for serum (range 85–96%), 96% for EDTA plasma (range 85–103%) and 94% for heparin plasma (range 90–97%). The assay procedure involves a 37 °C primary incubation of 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody incubation of 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding of 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm.

Storage is specified at 2–8 °C for 12 months. The kit supports research into CLDN3 dysregulation, which has been linked to cancer and inflammatory disorders, making the protein a biomarker of interest for disease progression and therapeutic development studies.
