Human CLCF1/Cardiotrophin-like cytokine factor 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is intended for the quantitative detection of human Cardiotrophin-like Cytokine Factor 1 (CLCF1) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. It is a double-antibody sandwich assay using colorimetric detection with a TMB substrate, and absorbance is read at 450 nm after addition of stop solution.

CLCF1 is a cytokine involved in inflammatory and immune responses as well as the regulation of cell growth and differentiation, making it a valuable biomarker in research on autoimmune disorders, cardiovascular conditions, and cancer. The kit has a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a working range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. Linearity has been validated at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions in serum (85–100%), EDTA plasma (83–100%) and heparin plasma (81–100%). Mean recovery is 95% in serum, 97% in EDTA plasma and 93% in heparin plasma, with recovery ranges of 85–105%, 86–104% and 88–96% respectively.

Reagents should be equilibrated to room temperature before use, with primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, and HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes. Provided sample preparation protocols include centrifugation of clotted blood at 1000 × g for 20 minutes for serum, centrifugation of anticoagulant-collected blood at 1000 × g for 15 minutes at 2–8°C for plasma, and centrifugation of cell culture supernatant at 2500 rpm for 5 minutes. The kit is intended for storage at 2–8°C for 12 months.
