The Human Claudin 7 ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of claudin-7, a tight junction transmembrane protein encoded by the CLDN7 gene, in human research samples. Claudin-7 contributes to epithelial barrier integrity and paracellular permeability, and altered expression has been reported in several solid tumour contexts, including gastric, colorectal, and breast carcinomas, making this kit useful for biomarker discovery and epithelial biology research workflows.

Each kit contains a pre-coated microplate, capture antibody, detection antibody, recombinant standards, wash buffer, substrate, and stop solution sufficient for 96 individual determinations run in duplicate wells. The procedure follows a standard two-antibody capture protocol with a chromogenic readout measured on a standard microplate reader. Store unopened kits refrigerated; once opened, individual components should be aliquoted and frozen for long-term storage to limit loss of activity through repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
