Human Claudin-3 (CLDN3) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Claudin-3 (CLDN3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Claudin-3 is a key tight-junction protein in epithelial cells, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, inflammatory disorders and autoimmune conditions, making it a valuable biomarker for research into disease progression and potential therapeutic interventions.

The kit delivers a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.12 ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is reported at a CV of 5.9% and inter-assay precision at 9.5%. Recovery in serum averaged 96% (range 90–102%) and in plasma 98% (range 92–104%), while linearity testing across serial dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16) returned values of 84–118% depending on the sample matrix.

The assay recognises both natural and recombinant human Claudin-3 (UniProt O15551) and is intended for research use only.
