Human Chymotrypsin C ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Chymotrypsin C (CTRC/ELA4) concentrations in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids, including cell culture supernatants. The assay uses a double antibody, colorimetric detection format with a reported sensitivity of 1.875 ng/mL and a working range of 3.125–200 ng/mL.

Spike-and-recovery values across matrices were 85–98% (serum, average 93%), 85–105% (EDTA plasma, average 94%), and 92–103% (UFH plasma, average 98%), with linearity of 83–105% across serial dilutions. Precision was reported as intra-assay CV <8% and inter-assay CV <10%. Kit components include an 8×12 strip microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate (SABC), TMB substrate, and wash buffer, stored at 4°C for 6 months.

Chymotrypsin-C (UniProt Q99895) is a 29,484 Da serine protease with chymotrypsin-type and hypocalcemic activity; genetic variations in CTRC have been associated with predisposition to hereditary pancreatitis. The kit is intended for Research Use Only.
