Human ChT1/VSIG1 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human ChT1/VSIG1 in research samples. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method with a sensitivity of 0.375 ng/mL across a working range of 0.625–40 ng/mL, and the kit is validated for use with serum and plasma.

Reagents should be stored at 2–8°C and remain stable for up to 12 months. The protocol follows a double-antibody sandwich workflow: standards and samples are incubated on a pre-coated plate at 37°C for 90 minutes, followed by biotin-labelled detection antibody binding (60 minutes), HRP-streptavidin conjugate incubation (30 minutes), TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after stop solution addition. Linearity has been characterised for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, with recovery averaging 93–97% across these sample types.

Reactivity is limited to human samples, and the kit may also be applied to cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types.
