Human CHRM3/Cholinergic Receptor, Muscarinic 3 ELISA Kit

Spike-and-recovery performance in the listed matrices gave average recoveries of 93% for serum (range 86-104%), 93% for EDTA plasma (range 85-105%) and 92% for UFH plasma (range 85-104%). Serial-dilution linearity was 93-102%, 91-104% and 88-103% for serum at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 respectively; 89-99%, 82-94% and 82-100% for EDTA plasma; and 80-89%, 81-100% and 84-100% for UFH plasma. Reported precision is intra-assay CV<8% and inter-assay CV<10%. Kit components are stored at 4°C for 6 months and the product is labelled For Research Use Only.

The target, muscarinic acetylcholine receptor M3 (CHRM3; Uniprot P20309), belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family and mediates cellular responses including inhibition of adenylate cyclase, breakdown of phosphoinositides and modulation of potassium channels. Defects in CHRM3 are the cause of Eagle-Barrett syndrome. Recorded aliases include HM3 and mAChR M3.
