Human Chorionic Gonadotropin ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in human samples. Using a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection, it provides accurate quantification suitable for research into reproductive health and pregnancy-related conditions.

The assay has a sensitivity of 4.688 mIU/mL and a standard curve range of 7.813–500 mIU/mL. It has been validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types. Linearity has been demonstrated across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma, and recovery rates range from approximately 85% to 103% across these matrices. Reagents should be stored at 2–8°C and remain stable for up to 12 months.

The workflow involves a biotin-labeled detection antibody followed by HRP-streptavidin binding, with colour development via TMB substrate and absorbance measured at 450 nm. The hCG target is also referred to by the synonyms hCG-H and hyperglycosylated chorionic gonadotropin.
