Human Chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan 4 (CSPG4) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of human Chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan 4 (CSPG4), also known as NG2, MCSP and Melanoma chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan, in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. CSPG4 is a protein involved in cell adhesion and migration as well as in promoting cell proliferation, and its dysregulation has been linked to cancer, making it a valuable biomarker for related research.

The assay uses a colorimetric detection method with a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is reported as 5.8% and inter-assay CV as 8.4%. The kit is specific for natural and recombinant human CSPG4 and is intended for research use only. The associated UniProt entry is Q6UVK1.

Linearity has been demonstrated in serum (104-114%, 93-102%, 101-110% and 105-115% at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions respectively), EDTA plasma (98-111%, 89-98%, 107-117% and 91-101%) and heparin plasma (96-108%, 98-107%, 84-94% and 98-107%). Spike-and-recovery averaged 92% in serum (range 86-98%) and 94% in plasma (range 88-100%).
