The Assay Genie Human Cholinergic Receptor, Nicotinic, Beta 3 (CHRNb3) ELISA Kit provides quantitative measurement of the β3 nicotinic acetylcholine receptor subunit in tissue homogenates and biological samples through a two-antibody capture format with a chromogenic substrate readout performed on a microplate.

The β3 subunit assembles with α3 and β4 subunits to form ganglionic-type nicotinic acetylcholine receptors expressed in autonomic neurons, adrenal chromaffin cells, and select epithelial tissues. Researchers apply this kit to studies of autonomic nervous system signaling, nicotine pharmacology, airway reactivity, and bladder smooth muscle function, where CHRNb3 modulation is implicated in addiction pathways and inflammatory responses. The antibody pair has been validated for human CHRNb3 with negligible cross-reactivity against the homologous β4 nicotinic subunit.

Each pack supports 96 individual reactions with standards, detection antibody, buffers, and chromogenic substrate supplied as ready-to-use reagents. The standard curve spans a working detection range of 0.31 ng/mL to 20 ng/mL with a minimum detectable dose near 0.1 ng/mL against recombinant human CHRNb3.
