Human Cholesteryl ester transfer protein (CETP) ELISA Kit

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 31.2–2000 pg/ml, a sensitivity of 10 pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 4.2% and an inter-assay CV of 7.5%. The kit shows specificity for natural and recombinant human CETP. In spiked recovery testing, serum samples showed an average recovery of 96% (range 90–102%) and plasma samples 98% (range 92–104%). CETP is a secreted plasma protein involved in the transfer of cholesteryl ester and triglyceride between lipoprotein particles and in reverse cholesterol transport, making the kit relevant to studies of lipid metabolism and related cardiovascular conditions.
