Human Cholecystokinin (CCK) ELISA Kit

A high-quality ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of Cholecystokinin (CCK) in human samples. The colorimetric assay is read at 450 nm and is intended for research use only. Cholecystokinin is a peptide hormone that plays a role in the regulation of digestion and appetite, stimulating the release of digestive enzymes and bile from the pancreas and gallbladder, and signalling feelings of satiety to the brain, making this kit a relevant tool for studies in metabolism and gastrointestinal disorders.

The kit demonstrates a detection range of 15.6–1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 10 pg/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 5.7% and inter-assay CV of 8.2%. Recovery is reported at 98% (range 92–104%) for serum and 100% (range 94–106%) for plasma. It is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, and recognises both natural and recombinant human Cholecystokinin.
