Human CHI3L1 (Chitinase-3-like protein 1) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of human CHI3L1 (Chitinase-3-like protein 1), also known as YKL-40, a protein that plays a key role in inflammation, tissue remodeling, and immune response. Elevated levels of CHI3L1 have been associated with inflammatory conditions including asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, and cancer, making the kit a useful tool for research into disease pathogenesis and potential therapeutic targets.

Using a colorimetric, double-antibody sandwich format, the assay offers a sensitivity of 37.5 pg/mL and a working range of 62.5–4000 pg/mL. It is compatible with a wide variety of human sample types, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. Reagents are stored at 2–8 °C for up to 12 months, and the kit is shipped refrigerated at +4 °C.

Validation across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma shows strong linearity, with values ranging from 80% to 105% across dilution factors, and overall recovery averaging 98–99% across the three matrices.
