Quantitative measurement of human C-C chemokine receptor type 7 (CCR7) is supported by this Assay Genie ELISA Kit, intended for research use in immunology and cancer biology. CCR7 is a seven-transmembrane G-protein coupled receptor best known for directing lymphocyte homing to secondary lymphoid organs and for mediating chemotactic migration in response to its ligands CCL19 and CCL21. Altered CCR7 expression has been documented in metastatic melanoma, breast carcinoma, and chronic lymphocytic leukemia, making its quantification valuable in studies of tumor dissemination and immune cell trafficking.

The microplate format accommodates 96 individual assays, and detection relies on a chromogenic substrate read on a standard plate reader. Tissue homogenates prepared from fresh or snap-frozen specimens serve as the primary sample input, and cell lysates from cultured lymphocytes are also compatible after appropriate dilution. The procedure is performed in vitro under standard laboratory conditions, and the kit is labeled for research use only.

Researchers dilute standards and unknowns in the provided assay diluent before loading onto wells, following the recommended protocol for incubation times and wash steps. Unopened kit components should be stored according to the package insert, with reconstituted reagents handled accordingly. Each kit supplies sufficient materials for one complete microplate run with 96 assays.
