Human Chemokine C-C-Motif Receptor 5 (CCR5) ELISA Kit

CCR5 (C-C chemokine receptor type 5) is a seven-transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor expressed on T lymphocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, and microglia. It binds the inflammatory C-C chemokines CCL3 (MIP-1α), CCL4 (MIP-1β), and CCL5 (RANTES) and is widely studied as the principal co-receptor that mediates HIV-1 entry into CD4+ host cells. This Assay Genie ELISA reagent enables quantitative in vitro measurement of human CCR5 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and similar experimental matrices, and is intended for research use only.
