Human CHAD/Chondroadherin ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the sensitive detection of human chondroadherin (CHAD) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric readout, and reactivity is limited to human samples. Sensitivity is quoted at 46.875 pg/mL across a standard range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL, and the kit is intended for storage at 2–8°C for 12 months.

The assay targets chondroadherin, a protein listed under UniProt O15335 and also known by the synonyms CHAD, Cartilage leucine-rich protein and SLRR4A. Reported linearity across diluted serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma falls within the 80–104% band at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, while recovery in matched serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma is given in the 85–105% range with averages between 92% and 95%. The product is positioned for signal-transduction research into cartilage formation and maintenance, including work on osteoarthritis and joint disorders.
