Human CGRP/Calcitonin gene-related peptide 1 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this is a sandwich double-antibody ELISA for the quantitative measurement of Human CGRP (Calcitonin Gene-Related Peptide 1). The kit uses a pre-coated microplate and a biotinylated detection antibody, with HRP-conjugated Streptavidin and TMB substrate producing a colour change that is read at 450 nm; the signal is directly proportional to analyte concentration and is determined from a standard curve.

The assay is intended for human samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reported performance includes a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a measuring range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Linearity has been established for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilution ratios, with reported ranges of 86-98%, 85-101% and 95-101% for serum at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 (n=5), and comparable ranges for the plasma types. Spike-and-recovery performance is reported for serum (88-103%, average 95%), EDTA plasma (88-105%, average 97%) and heparin plasma (86-96%, average 93%).
