Human CFHR5 (Complement Factor H Related Protein 5) ELISA Kit (HUES02938)

The Assay Genie sandwich ELISA kit offers a quantitative immunoassay for measuring human complement factor H-related protein 5 (CFHR5) in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. CFHR5 is a regulator of the alternative complement pathway, and altered expression has been linked to complement-mediated kidney disorders, including CFHR5 nephropathy and atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome.

The 96-well microplate produces a colorimetric readout at 450 nm, with a standard curve spanning approximately 0.156-10 ng/ml for accurate quantification of native CFHR5. Each kit contains a pre-coated plate, biotinylated detection antibody, standards, wash buffer, and substrate sufficient for 96 determinations. Store all reagents at 2-8 °C and equilibrate to room temperature before the assay. Intended for in vitro research use only; not for diagnostic applications.
