Human CFHR2 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS0415)

The Assay Genie CFHR2 ELISA kit targets Complement Factor H-Related 2, a ~30 kDa plasma glycoprotein that circulates in human blood as a regulator of the alternative complement pathway. CFHR2 competes with Factor H for binding to C3b and to host surfaces coated with heparan sulfate, and altered CFHR2 concentrations have been reported in atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (aHUS), C3 glomerulopathy, and IgA nephropathy research cohorts. The standard curve spans approximately 0.16–10 ng/mL, and the capture and detection antibodies are raised against human CFHR2 with no significant cross-reactivity to the related CFHR1, CFHR3, CFHR4, or CFHR5 family members. The kit is configured as a ready-to-use microplate with lyophilized and liquid reagents supplied in individual vials, alongside a wash buffer concentrate and TMB substrate. Researchers commonly apply this ELISA to plasma specimens, serum samples, and conditioned medium from engineered cell lines expressing recombinant CFHR2 for mechanistic complement studies.
