The CEP350 target (Centrosomal Protein 350, alias CAP350) is a centrosomal and Golgi-associated factor implicated in microtubule organization, centriole cohesion, and mitotic progression. Loss-of-function variants in CEP350 are recognized as a cause of primary microcephaly (MCPH6), so quantitative measurement of this protein in human specimens supports neurodevelopmental and centrosome-biology investigations.
