Quantitative measurement of human centrosomal protein 192 (CEP192) is supported by the Assay Genie ELISA platform, which delivers a colorimetric readout on a 96-well microplate.

CEP192 is a ~250 kDa pericentriolar scaffold that recruits PLK4 and CEP152 to the mother centriole during procentriole assembly and activates PLK1 at mitotic entry to drive bipolar spindle formation; quantifying its abundance therefore supports research on centriole duplication, mitotic fidelity, and centrosome amplification in cancer cells.

The supplied capture antibody is human-specific, with no significant cross-reactivity observed against rodent CEP192, and the kit is intended for in vitro research use only on biological specimens and cell line lysates.
