Assay Genie's CEP164 quantitative immunoassay provides researchers with a quantitative read-out of centrosomal protein 164 in human-derived specimens. CEP164 is a centrosome- and basal body-associated scaffold required for primary cilium assembly, and it operates as an upstream activator of ATR kinase during the DNA damage response triggered by replication stress or irradiation. Quantitative measurement of CEP164 supports research into ciliopathies such as nephronophthisis and into DNA repair signaling, with reported applications in renal, neural, and oncology-related cell models.

The kit ships as a 96 Assays configuration with all components required to run standard microplate-based detection. Each kit contains the pre-coated plate and the matched antibodies, standards, buffers, and substrate needed to build a calibration curve and quantify CEP164. Reagents are configured for use on standard absorbance plate readers, and full storage and handling guidance is included with the lot documentation.

This product is intended for research use only and supports laboratories investigating centrosome biology, ciliogenesis, and genotoxic stress responses. Published and ongoing work has used CEP164 quantification to characterize disease-associated signaling in patient-derived renal cells, to profile DNA damage pathway activation, and to examine centrosomal integrity in cancer cell lines.
