Human CENPA/Centromere Protein A ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit employs a double-antibody, colorimetric format for quantitative detection of Centromere Protein A (CENPA) in human samples. The assay has a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313–20 ng/mL, targeting CENPA (UniProt P49450) for cell cycle research.

Validated sample matrices include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. In spike-and-recovery testing, serum yielded 85–103% (average 97%), EDTA plasma 92–105% (average 99%), and heparin plasma 86–101% (average 95%). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions was 86–104% across the same matrices. The supplied protocol proceeds through a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, biotinylated detection antibody binding (60 minutes), HRP–streptavidin (SABC) binding (30 minutes), TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution is added. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months, with the lyophilised standard and microplate strips also suitable for longer-term storage at −20°C.
