Human Cell surface A33 antigen (GPA33) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is intended for the quantitative measurement of human Cell surface A33 antigen (GPA33), also referred to as Glycoprotein A33, in human samples including serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids. Detection is colorimetric and the assay shows reactivity with natural and recombinant human GPA33, a single-pass type I membrane protein that is highly expressed in colorectal cancer and other gastrointestinal cancers and is investigated as a biomarker in cancer research. The kit is supplied for research use only.

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the assay has a detection range of 0.625–40 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.23 ng/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 6.2% and an inter-assay CV of 8.4%. Linearity was evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16. Recovery averaged 99% (range 93–105%) in serum and 101% (range 95–107%) in plasma. The associated UniProt accession is Q99795, and GPA33 may play a role in cell-cell recognition and signaling.
