Human Cell division control protein 42 homolog (CDC42) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Cell division control protein 42 homolog (CDC42). The kit is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, and detection is performed by colorimetric readout.

The assay covers a detection range of 15.6–1000 pg/mL with a stated sensitivity of 10 pg/mL. Reported precision values are an intra-assay CV of 4.5% and an inter-assay CV of 8.6%. Linearity has been characterised in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16. Mean recovery is 95% for serum (range 89–101%) and 97% for plasma (range 91–103%). The kit shows specificity for natural and recombinant human CDC42 and is for research use only.

CDC42 (UniProt P60953; NCBI Gene ID 998) is a plasma membrane-associated small GTPase that cycles between an active GTP-bound and an inactive GDP-bound state. It is involved in epithelial cell polarization, the bipolar attachment of spindle microtubules to kinetochores before chromosome congression in metaphase, the formation and maintenance of filopodia, and CDC42-dependent cell migration. The kit is suited to research areas investigating cancer and related aspects of cell division and proliferation.
