Human Cela3b/ELA3B ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a sandwich ELISA, double-antibody kit for the quantitative measurement of human CELA3B (Elastase 3B). The assay is intended for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and uses a colorimetric detection workflow based on TMB substrate development read at 450 nm.

Sensitivity is reported at 0.188 ng/mL with an analytical range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Linearity for serum (n=5) at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 94–104%, 85–105% and 85–104% respectively; EDTA plasma 91–97%, 84–101% and 84–99%; and heparin plasma 83–96%, 81–90% and 84–100%. Spike-and-recovery averages are 97% for serum, 93% for EDTA plasma and 92% for heparin plasma, with corresponding ranges of 86–103%, 85–104% and 90–104%.

CELA3B, also referred to as ELA3B (UniProt P08861), is an elastin-degrading enzyme whose dysregulation has been linked to inflammatory and autoimmune conditions. The kit is intended for research applications including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), cystic fibrosis and inflammatory bowel diseases, and kit components should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
