Human CEBPE/C/EBP epsilon ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of Human CEBPE/C/EBP Epsilon concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. It uses a double antibody detection method and is intended for research use only.

Performance figures reported by the manufacturer include a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/ml and a detection range of 0.781-50 ng/ml. Recovery rates in spiked matrices were 89-102% for serum (average 96%), 88-93% for EDTA plasma (average 91%) and 85-105% for UFH plasma (average 96%). Linearity testing showed recovery of 88-103%, 91-105% and 85-102% for serum at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions respectively; 84-99%, 84-101% and 84-98% for EDTA plasma; and 86-98%, 92-98% and 85-98% for UFH plasma. Intra-Assay CV is <8% and Inter-Assay CV is <10%. The kit should be stored at 4°C for 6 months.

C/EBP Epsilon is a bZIP transcription factor (UniProt: Q15744) located at chromosomal region 14q11.2, involved in regulating gene expression, cell differentiation, immune response, adipogenesis and inflammation. Dysregulation has been linked to cancer, autoimmune disorders and metabolic syndromes, and the protein is associated with Specific Granule Deficiency.
